Cooperation with international partners

The Chair of Economic Geography, in particular Transport and Logistics, is connected in many ways with international partners from other universities and research institutions in Europe and beyond through cooperation in research and teaching.

The spectrum of cooperation is realised in various forms:

  • jointly applied for and worked on research projects,
  • exchange programmes for students and lecturers,
  • dissertation supervision and doctoral colloquia,
  • specialised lectures,
  • excursions

Particularly intensive contacts exist with the following countries:

Through excursions abroad and international lecture activities, there are also specific contacts to Belgium, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain (especially the Balearic Islands) and the USA.
